today my life changed. and you werent there. not to call. not to text. not to talk. and i was okay. but you took that. you had to be a part. you had to drive the blade. wrapped in arms one moment and empty dial tones the next. no more baby‘s, no more lady‘s. no more hopes of a trip to the emipire. those dreams are gone. they were filled. filled by a renewed sense of purpose.
